12 Weeks

Not the best pic, but after a long week, I was not as excited about getting all dressed up at 9am on Sunday morning to take this picture.  But I wanted to get the little bump in progress out there with this post!

Exercising?  Attempting!  I don’t think I have morning sickness; it’s more like MOTION sickness... Can’t move too fast or I feel like my last meal might come up!  I am still participating in my Thursday night volleyball, if you consider “playing” as standing around on the court yelling at my teammates to get the ball. (Waiting for my pink slip due to lack of hustle)  And Yoga-ing like crazy!  I am loving yoga more than ever now and very excited about my morning workshop on the 10th followed by a week of free yoga!  Whoo whoo!  Hopefully once the weather warms up, Tyler and I will get back into our walking routine.

Maternity clothes? I am in the middle stage right now- regular clothes are very uncomfortable and maternity clothes are too big.  So I am wearing the same clothes over and over and over and over and over.  (Slightly frustrating for someone who stares at a big closet of clothes every morning)

Sleeping? Whenever I get the chance!  I am a walking zombie.  I am in bed by 8pm and ready for a nap after my morning shower!  The only two things that are interrupting my much needed sleep are my small bladder and my job that does not believe in nap time.  (Shame on them.)  hehe.

Missing Anything? I could really go for a tall, cold Miller Lite from BW3s… Their tall glasses have a buffalo engraved on the bottom the glass which activates the constant bubbles that flow up the glass…It looks and tastes Beautiful.  I am also missing my energy.  Please let me know if you have any to spare!  Thanks.

Food cravings? Nada, the only thing I enjoy eating right now is fruit.  The Foti homemade pickles are going down well, too.  Otherwise I have food aversions like crazy.  Can’t even stand raw onions or garlic on anything, which are usually my favorite additions to any food! Just feeling like a plain Jane when it comes to food selections right now.

Acid Reflux? Yes… here and there… ANNOYING, pretty dull, pain in my upper abdomen.  Yuck.  Being off my acid reflux meds was a great decision at first.  Not drinking coffee everyday or alcohol was probably a great way to take care if it without meds and it was working so well. But I am assuming with these little symptoms creeping up on me now I may be begging for relief in the near future.

Anything making you queasy or sick? Everything that has scent seems to make me a little queasy… But especially traffic fumes!  I can smell them the second I get on the freeway.  Nothing is sending me in sprint to the bathroom, so that’s a plus!

This Weeks Symptoms?  Exhaustion.  If I have any other symptoms, I am way too tired to notice at this point.

Gender? Tyler is praying for a little man.  I don’t blame him; I think he would panic with a mini-me around.  Hehe.  I am thinking I just want a HEALTHY baby.  I mean, cute pink flower headbands and fluffy tu-tus are not an awful thing either!

Any Movement? Nope.

Labor Signs? Nope.

Belly Button: in or out? In

Wedding rings on or off? On

Overall Mood this week? Excited!  It has been so exciting to let the secret out and celebrate the crazy fact that there is a REAL LIVE BABY on the way!  Whooa.  So surreal.  The excitement increases the mood factor, as well… I am always feeling so tired and crabby underneath this big smile!

Looking forward to? Having ENERGY again… crossing my fingers it is right around the corner!

Pit of the week? Not making it to any after-work activities this week including yoga and volleyball.  So tired and feeling lifeless.  I think I am NOT stressing about anything (which is GREAT) because I just don’t have the energy to do so!

Peak of the week? Hearing the HEARTBEAT!

Looking forward to sharing my nersery ideas next time!
Make it a great week and see you back here soon!
Much Love,
Jax

  1. Have you tried the belly bands to make your clothes more comfy? I have a few brands but I like the one from Target the best. They make a gigantic difference! :)
